Maheen, in her desire to be modern, had stopped wearing a dupatta.

Her mother advised, “Daughter! The dupatta is the veil of your honor…”

Maheen laughed, “Mom! That’s all outdated now.”

One day, someone catcalled her outside the college.

Ashamed, Maheen returned home, and her mother simply handed her a dupatta.

ایک دن کالج کے باہر کسی نے اس پر آواز کس دی۔

ماہین شرمندہ ہو کر گھر پہنچی تو ماں نے فقط دوپٹہ تھما دیا۔

"جب دنیا نظریں اٹھائے، تو بیٹی کو دوپٹہ بچاتا ہے…"
